The Three Swans Hotel & Restaurant
This historic hotel has a characterful and intriguing past. The Three Swans Hotel, formerly The Swan Inn, has been a haven for travellers for at least 500 years, and was especially vibrant during the coaching era of the late 1700s and early 1800s, when it was owned and operated by a local landowner who also became a partner in the firm that ran the Manchester to London coach service – it was during his time that The Swan was rebuilt to create the frontage existing today.
Dining at The Eatery is exactly what a meal or a casual bite-to-eat should be; a relaxed, enjoyable experience. With a comprehensive yet unpretentious menu, there is plenty for even the fussiest of taste buds to savour. Guests are free to dine where they wish, be it from the main restaurant or lounge, the bar, or alfresco in the breezy courtyard. Larger groups may prefer to spread out across our 14-seater table in the Oak Room; a discrete area located just off the cocktail bar.
All of our sweet treats, desserts and afternoon teas are made fresh on the premises by our talented and creative kitchen team. Our Head Chef regularly reviews the main menu to keep things interesting, sourcing ingredients both locally and from further afield if something more exotic is called for…
