Welland Valley Vineyard
Established in 1991, Welland Valley Vineyard produces high quality vintage wine. Long, slow ripening of the grapes, hand picking, gentle pressing and cool fermentation helps to produce delicate flavours and a fresh style. It is bottled in the spring following the October harvest and then laid down for a period of maturation before being released for sale.
Our award winning sparkling wine is made by the traditional double fermentation method used for champagne, and is released after 3 years.
In addition to vines we also have a small orchard of traditional cider apples from which we make award winning ciders called Roundhead and Kind Richard III.
Visit our website for more information on our range of wines and ciders, where you can buy them, and how to book a group visit to the vineyard.
